Operations Manager / Internal Business Developer 

 

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of our business

• Developing and implementing company strategy of growth and scalability

• Work across engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, marketing, sales to create an efficient product pipeline

• Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.

• Creation and tracking of KPIs tailored to our business (hardware manufacturing, customer reach, profitability) 

• Distilling complex company operations into stories for investors and company employees

• Mentoring and leadership of company early career employees

• Develop Profit/Loss statement, Balance sheet, and key financial documents

• Develop cost structure, both variable and fixed

• Plan and track spending and investment

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge​​

• Experience in scaling hardware manufacturing and product development

• Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on collaboration, proactivity, and flexibility, and is able to rally people and influence to get things done

• Prefer experience in start-up environment

• Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with investor relations

• Passion for strengthening our public-benefit corporate culture and productivity, and building community

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Aptitude for influencing others and getting people on board with an idea or direction

Typical Education and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 7 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 5 years of related experience.
