Lead Engineer
Responsibilities

Manufacturing, machining and designing in CAD.

Provide daily direct manufacturing support to troubleshoot and resolve issues and document solutions following GMP.

Work directly with the Head of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Operator and if needed work on the assembly line to meet high customer demands.

Implement, write protocols, maintain methods, sequence of events, and validated processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, and final assemblies.

Interface with the executive team in coordinating the release of new products. Provide recommendations on design and manufacturing procedures for new products and tooling.

Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.

Define and implement continuous process improvements to existing manufacturing operations.

Identify the root cause of manufacturing related issues and perform corrective and preventive action using established problem solving methods.

Perform evaluation and disposition of non-conforming materials. Participate in technical support and recommendations discussions.

Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Utilize good time management skills for on-time delivery of assignments.

Manage small improvement projects as assigned.

Organize and conduct cross-functional sub-team meetings and present updates at all community company meetings.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

Good working knowledge of machined parts, assemblies, and complex large scale equipment manufacturing.

Proficient in creating, reviewing, and editing of relevant technical documents.

Proficient in employing the latest industry techniques and practices.

Familiar with the latest available tools or standards used in the industry to complete task(s) specifically CNC, compression molding, and traditional manufacturing tools.

Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with CAD software
Typical Education and Experience
-
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering related discipline and 4 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience.
